We have an amazing, award winning Green Team composed of representatives from across the school. These children put themselves forward because they are passionate about sustainability, our environment and reducing waste. The children are active, keen and determined to make a difference. They take ownership, running meetings, leading initiatives and inspiring others to do their bit for our community and our planet.

Each year the team work together using data they have collated from audits, ideas from the school community and interests of pupils to establish a plan of action for the following year. Past projects have included working with The Conservation Volunteers to develop our school grounds to promote biodiversity, recycling through the Cash For Clobber Scheme and reduce litter through the Wrigley's Litter Less Campaign to tidy the outer the surrounding areas of our school! We work closely with other schools to share ideas and encourage children to see the collective impact of everyone working together.

We are a Healthy Eating School and promote eating fruit and vegetables during snack times and staying hydrated with a supply a water using a reusable bottle or parents can avail of the milk scheme. Parents who choose to to eat a pack lunch are encouraged to provide a balanced pack lunch that meets their child`s high energy and nutrient level.
