P7 have really enjoyed their time with our student teacher, Miss Hall. In Numeracy we have been learning about measuring capacity, working with money and handling data using different graphs. In Literacy we have been learning about writing a descriptive setting for a story, how to use a thesaurus to find synonyms and antonyms and how to use speech marks accurately! We have enjoyed lots of interactive, practical activities including making marshmallow bridges, measuring ingredients for pancakes and creating bridges out of clay.
