A huge well done to all the P7s and their parents for their dressing-up efforts for Book Day. There were some fantastic costumes on display!
This week in P7 we had lots of events to celebrate reading. We got into character wi a book tasting where pupils had the chance to “sample” books by new authors by reading the blurbs and some of the story. Most of us found a new book we’d like to read. P1 and P2 shared their favourite stories with us and we enjoyed using different voices to read to them.
We also investigated character and plot in Lewis Carroll’s story of Alice and Wonderland and finished off Book Week with a Mad Hatter’s tea party.
