P5 have been busy making autumn artwork this week. First we drew our own leaf designs and cut them out of card to make a stencil. Then we drew around them, thinking about overlapping the leaves to make them look like they were falling.
After that we outlined our leaves and used warm colours to paint them. Once the leaves were dry, we used a “wet on wet” watercolour technique to paint the background in cool colours to look like the sky. We are really proud of our finished work!
