Our Garden Make-Over
An organisation called Volunteer Now selected a number of volunteers from the Education Authority to restore our school garden. The Eco club had their own input of what they wanted their garden to look like and put this together into a plan. The pupils and staff are delighted with their new and improved garden and look forward to planting bulbs, investigating their bug hotel and bird watching over the spring and summer months, making this a wonderful outdoor learning resource. The whole school team want to say a massive thank you for all the work and effort from the volunteers.
We are hoping to develop our garden further with more sensory resources, various trees/shrubs and a pathway in the near future.
A huge thank you to all parents who donated to Cash for Clobber, the money raised has been used to develop our garden area into an exciting outdoor learning environment for the pupils.
