P7 took part in a ‘book tasting’ for world book day. The classroom became a restaurant for the morning- one that serves up delicious books to sample!
Each table had a chapter of a different book as their ‘starter’ ‘main’ and ‘dessert’ with a few special treats also to eat whilst they devoured the books.
Pupils then completed their ‘taste cards’ to give reasons why they would or wouldn’t consider reading the whole book.
It was a fun way to explore new genres/authors and find an interesting new book to possibly enjoy!
